Author Guidelines

Author Guidelines

The Mahakarya Journal of Health Sciences (MJHS) welcomes original manuscripts in the fields of Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery, Public Health, Pharmacy, Nutrition, and Physiotherapy. Submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal.

Authors should prepare manuscripts in English following the journal template. Each manuscript should include:

  • Title

  • Author(s) and affiliation(s)

  • Abstract (maximum 250 words)

  • 3–5 Keywords

  • Introduction

  • Materials and Methods

  • Results

  • Discussion

  • Conclusion

  • References

References should follow the APA 7th Edition citation style. Authors are encouraged to use recent and relevant references and include DOI information whenever available.

All submissions undergo an initial editorial screening followed by a double-blind peer-review process. Manuscripts involving human participants or animals must have received approval from an appropriate ethics committee and comply with applicable ethical standards.

Before submission, authors should ensure that:

  • The manuscript fits the aims and scope of MJHS.

  • The manuscript has not been published or submitted elsewhere.

  • All authors have approved the submitted version.

  • Ethical approval has been obtained where applicable.

  • The manuscript follows the journal template and formatting requirements.

Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.

Submission Preparation Checklist

Before submitting your manuscript, please confirm that:

  • This submission complies with the Author Guidelines of the Mahakarya Journal of Health Sciences (MJHS).
  • This manuscript is original, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration by another journal.
  • All authors have read and approved the submitted manuscript and agree to its submission to MJHS.
  • The manuscript falls within the aims and scope of MJHS.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy, completeness, and are formatted according to the journal's reference style.
  • All tables and figures are cited in the text, properly numbered, and include appropriate titles or captions.
  • Ethical approval has been obtained where required, and the approval information is included in the manuscript.
  • Permission has been obtained to reproduce any copyrighted material (including figures, tables, photographs, datasets, or other third-party content).
  • Any potential conflicts of interest and sources of funding have been disclosed in the manuscript.

Articles

This section publishes original scholarly articles in the field of health sciences, including medicine, nursing, midwifery, pharmacy, public health, nutrition, physiotherapy, medical laboratory science, and other related health disciplines. Manuscripts should present original research findings that have not been previously published or simultaneously submitted to another journal. All submissions undergo a double-blind peer-review process and are evaluated based on scientific quality, originality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, and their contribution to the advancement of health sciences. Authors must comply with the journal's author guidelines, publication ethics, and applicable reporting standards according to the study design.
