Long-Term Digital Preservation

Mahakarya Journal of Health Sciences (MJHS) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and availability of all published scholarly content. The journal implements digital archiving practices to safeguard published articles against data loss, technological changes, and unforeseen system failures.

All published articles remain permanently accessible through the journal's official website and are preserved to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.

Institutional Archiving

The publisher maintains secure electronic copies of all published content and regularly performs system maintenance and data backup to minimize the risk of data loss.

Journal records, including published articles and associated metadata, are preserved to ensure continuous public access.

Open Access Preservation

As an open access journal, MJHS provides permanent online access to all published articles without subscription or access restrictions. Published content remains freely available to readers worldwide in accordance with the journal's Open Access Policy.

Metadata Preservation

The journal preserves bibliographic metadata, including article titles, author information, abstracts, keywords, publication dates, and Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs), where applicable, to support long-term discoverability and citation.

Future Archiving Services

The Editorial Board is committed to expanding the journal's digital preservation strategy by participating in recognized archiving and preservation services as the journal continues to develop.

Where available, the journal may utilize trusted digital preservation systems such as:

  • PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)

  • LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)

  • CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS)

  • Institutional Repositories

  • National Library repositories or other recognized preservation services

Content Integrity

Once an article has been published, it becomes part of the permanent scholarly record. Any post-publication changes will be managed transparently through official editorial notices, such as:

  • Correction (Erratum)

  • Corrigendum

  • Expression of Concern

  • Retraction

The original publication record will be maintained in accordance with internationally accepted publication ethics and editorial standards.

Journal Availability
