Archiving and Preservation Policy — Journal of Health Sciences and Collaborative Care (JHSCC)

Published issues, article metadata, and publication files are maintained in the journal’s OJS archive. The existing /mjhs journal path and article URLs are retained during the journal-title update. Historical publication dates and PDFs are preserved. Corrections and retractions must be recorded transparently and linked to the affected article.

Preservation status
The OJS administration screen does not show an active PKP Preservation Network service; it requests installation of the PKP PN plugin. Participation in LOCKSS or CLOCKSS has not been verified. Accordingly, the journal does not currently claim verified preservation by PKP PN, LOCKSS, or CLOCKSS. An OJS archive or a harvesting option alone is not evidence of external preservation participation.

Operational backup requirements
The publisher’s hosting administrator is responsible for maintaining coordinated backups of the database, private submission/publication files, public files, and OJS configuration, stored separately from the production system. Recovery procedures must be documented and tested. This website statement does not certify that a current backup or recovery test has been completed.

Authors may deposit published articles in appropriate repositories in accordance with each article’s license, retaining a citation and link to the version of record.

The publisher will update this policy after an external preservation arrangement and recovery procedures have been verified.
